Trivium has teamed up with Portuguese musician Toy to release a new version of "Coração Não tem Idade (Vou Beijar)" sung entirely in Portuguese .
The band met Toy after vocalist Matt Heafy released a cover of the track on his Twitch channel in 2018. A year later, they took the stage at the VOA Festival in Portugal and performed “Until The World Goes Cold” together.
“The collaboration between Toy and Trivium has been nothing short of unexpected and incredible every step of the way,” Heafy commented upon releasing the song. “This cover, just like the original, makes you feel good. Whether you speak Portuguese or not, you’ll be moving and singing along to the chorus. We’re proud to call Toy a friend and can’t wait to do this live together more often.”
